Traditional Chinese Medicine × Ikebana @ Goyo (NY)

Join us for a two-hour sensory journey engaging all five senses around traditional Chinese medicine with Zoey Gong and where flowers unfold in both form and flavor with Zizi.

Ikebana (1 hour) 

Begin with ikebana, the meditative art of traditional Buddhist flower arrangement. Guided by certified instructor Zizi Sensei, you will create your own arrangement while exploring Eastern philosophies of wabi-sabi, yin & yang, and ma—the space in between. Rooted in harmony with nature and the changing seasons, ikebana invites you to slow down and notice beauty in everyday life.

TCM (1 hour) 

With your ikebana as your view, transition into a floral herbal journey led by traditional TCM specialist Zoey. Discover 8 medicinal flowers, learn their healing properties, and experience them through a tea ceremony setting. This session explores seasonal balance, nourishment, and the gentle healing power of plants.
