Description

Incense in East Asia was historically used in rituals, measuring time, as perfume, repelling insects, and even preserving medicine. This informational and hands-on class reviews the history of incense, different types, and the process of making natural incense. The hands-on portion of the class covers materials, techniques, and a basic overview of crafting incense using aromatic plants. Class will include all materials for making incense sticks and cones along with a tasting and small dessert.

Class will last roughly 2 hrs and takes place in our tea gallery located in the back of our 70 Greenpoint ave, Brooklyn cafe.

Tasting, information, pamphlet, wood box, materials, and a small dessert included.
