GONGGI Tea Class & Ritual Session @ Goyo (NY)

Gonggi is a tea practice by Olivia Lee rooted in the idea of 'empty space and quiet, yet full of energy.'

Rather than adding something new, it creates a small opening a space where attention can settle, and what is already present can be felt more clearly. It is simply a way of spending time with tea. This session unfolds in two parts.

In the Tea Class, we briefly share the background of tea and move through simple preparation, allowing one cup to come together through attention and gesture. This is followed by the Ritual Session, where we set aside explanation and remain with tea, breath, and quiet time. There is nothing to achieve here. Only a pause, and a chance to notice what is already present.
